Luxembourg at Copenhagen Pride’s 30th Anniversary

Luxembourg’s Embassy in Copenhagen was happy to take part again in this year’s Copenhagen Pride Parade, marking its fourth consecutive year of participation. Together with colleagues, friends and fellow diplomats, it celebrated a day that brought people together in a spirit of equality, inclusion and solidarity.

As part of Diplomats for Equality, the mission joined a broad group of diplomatic representations committed to promoting these values, and for the first time also contributed to the co‑organization of the delegation. Seeing so many participants create a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day was a highlight and showed how important open and inclusive public spaces remain.

This year’s parade also marked the 30th anniversary of Copenhagen Pride, a milestone that underscored the long‑standing commitment of the city and its communities to advancing equal rights and visibility for LGBTQ+ people. The Embassy looks forward to continuing its engagement in initiatives that strengthen equal opportunities and foster dialogue across the Nordic region, and to joining again next year.

With this milestone in mind, support for equality and inclusion goes beyond Pride, and the mission remains committed to advancing this work throughout the year in close cooperation with regional partners and the wider community.
