Luxembourg marked a historic milestone last week with its first-ever participation in the International Frame Running Cup. 🇱🇺 🇩🇰 Sandra Schwinninger, representing the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee, delivered an impressive international debut and earned three medals: 🥈 400 m silver, 🥈 60 m silver, and 🥉 200 m bronze. The event brought together athletes from 12 nations, reflecting the strong international momentum behind Frame Running, which will reach a significant milestone in 2028, when it will be included for the first time in the Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. 🌍 It was a pleasure for the Embassy of Luxembourg in Copenhagen to be present and support Luxembourg’s first steps in this inspiring and rapidly developing sport. 🏅 #Paralympics #sportletzebuerg #framerunning

New direct route between Luxembourg and Helsinki, bringing the two capitals even closer 🇱🇺🤝🇫🇮 Last Thursday, 2 July, the Luxembourgish airline Luxair launched the new route between Luxembourg and the Finnish capital, Helsinki. At the arrival, Luxair’s CCO, Thomas Fischer, the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Finland, Christoffer Waselius, and SVP, Route Development, Finavia, Petri Vuori delivered speeches at the arrival of the flight. The inaugural service established a direct air link between the two European capitals for the first time in Luxair’s history. The airline will operate the route twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays. This new connection by Luxair testifies of the strong links between the Grand Duchy and the Nordic region. The Helsinki service expands Luxair’s Nordic network, complementing its existing routes to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.
